BYU Vs RSL

BYU will take on RSL Monday Apr 14, at 5:00pm.

Provo, Utah (April 11, 2008)
BYU will host the Real Salt Lake Reserves on Monday, April 14th for an exhibition match. But this game is a little different.

In order to get into the game, fans will be required to bring a new or used pair of cleats (children’s sizes preferred, but all sizes will be accepted) to donate to children in Fiji. The BYU men’s soccer team is traveling to Fiji this May for their international tour and will be hosting a clinic for hundreds of Fijian children, who will without a doubt be ecstatic to receive a pair of soccer cleats. During each of their annual international tours, the BYU men’s soccer team donates equipment and uniforms to people throughout the world as part of the US Soccer Foundation Passback Program, an initiative that helps meet the soccer uniform and equipment needs of all communities, regardless of income, gender or location.

The BYU vs. RSL Reserves game will start at 5:00 p.m. at Haws field, as South Stadium is being renovated. Haws Field is located at 1160 North University Avenue.
