South Stadium
For the past 11 years, South Stadium (formerly South Field), has been the battlefield for BYU women's soccer as the team has taken on, and defeated, the top teams in their conference and in the NCAA.

Consistently among the top-15 in attendance in the NCAA, South Stadium packs in some of the largest crowds in the country. With an average attendance of 2,069 fans during the 2005 campaign, the Cougars rank among the highest every year for largest attendance average in the country. BYU also packed in a total of 24,830 fans over 12 games, recording the third-highest attendance mark in the nation and making South Stadium one of the toughest places for opponents to play in women's college soccer.

Located just south of the Smith Fieldhouse, South Stadium boasts one of the best-maintained grass playing surfaces in the NCAA. Because of its quality field, the U.S. Men's National Soccer Team chose BYU's South Stadium as its practice field in preparation for its 2005 World Cup qualifier against Costa Rica. The match was held at Rice Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake. The Wasatch Mountains serve as a scenic backdrop for the capacity crowd of 3,000 fans. South Stadium is also equipped with state-of-the-art field lights, making night games a favorite among fans.
