Provo, Utah – The men’s soccer team concluded their weeklong tryouts with their annual inter squad Blue vs. White game. In the game, both sides fought hard to compete for the 24-man Fall roster. The Blue team, lead by senior captain Mitchell Scott, finished their chances and took a commanding win with a score line of 4-0. Chances created and time of possession was fairly equal with both squads having stints of extended success on the ball.

Provo, Utah - The BYU men’s soccer team will be having their annual season ticket sale September 6th, 2018. For only 10$, you get access to 8 home games throughout the 2018 Fall season. Regularly, the season tickets sell for 35$; but for 24 hours on September 6th, the season tickets will be reduced to 10$!
Provo, Utah – The BYU men’s soccer team will officially kick off their NIRSA national championship winning defense against the Utes on September 14th. The Cougs will hold open tryouts September 4th, and 5th; after which, the staff will hold morning practices leading up to their official home opener against the squad up north on September 14th.
Head Coach Brandon Gilliam will look to fortify the Cougs as they strive to stay undefeated in NIRSA play, and defend their national championship run the previous year.
BYU Men's Soccer Heads To Nationals
On October 27th BYU Men's Soccer Stepped into Regionals held at UVU with a 7-0-1 record. The Cougars were undefeated and eager to continue that run, but it would not be easy as they would need to play 5 games over a 36 hour period to claim the Regional Tournament and qualify for Nationals.
Cougars Return to Collegiate Club Status
The Brigham Young University men’s soccer team has announced that it is returning to the collegiate club ranks for the 2017 season. The move ends 15 seasons of competing in the Premier Development League (PDL).
BYU SOCCER RETURNS HOME AFTER 15 YEARS!!!
BYU Men's Soccer left the college ranks in 2002 to join the Premier Developmental League. It was a wonderful move to become the only College Soccer Program in the country to compete at the Semi-pro level. BYU even gained the opportunity to compete in the US Open Cup in 2007, 2008 and again in 2015. Head Coach Brandon Gilliam says its been an amazing run in the PDL and one that has provided so much opportunity for the players and staff, but now its time to come back home!

BYU SOCCER 2017 FALL TRYOUTS
BYU Men's Soccer will be holding a one-day Open tryout on September 15th at 8:00 am on Haws Field. Tryouts will run until 10:00 am, and at that point, a group of players will be asked to return Monday to match up against the returning players. Open Tryouts will be free and open to any BYU Fulltime student currently taking classes.
Cougars Open PDL Home Campaign With a 2-1 Win

BYU Soccer returned to Provo for their 2017 PDL home-opener last Saturday. After three games on the road, the Cougars were anxious for another win against the Albuquerque Sol.
The match had an interesting dynamic as the two teams faced off for the second time in a row. Last week BYU defeated Albuquerque Sol FC 3-0 in New Mexico.
